SUSan Booster® in practice

Klaus Niedermayer has no reason to be concerned anymore. He has been using the SUSan Booster^® for his sows and fattening pigs on his farm for a while now. In this article he tells us about his experience with Sano’s new all-rounder.

In Dettelbach, lower Franconia everything is about the pigs. Farmer Klaus Niedermayer has a total of 150 breeding sows. He rears and fattens 4,500 farrows for his sow production. He reaches a performance of 30 farrows per sow and year.

The feed conversion ratio has been an important index for a long time. “I am always open for new ways to improve my performance”, enforces Klaus Niedermayer. Low intestine digestion

His ratios rely on local protein suppliers such as rape extraction shreds and peas. Most of the protein feed such as field beans and lupines contain anti-nutritive substances. These substances can decrease the feed intake, disrupt the digestion and have negative effects on the animal health. Furthermore, most of these feed components have a low intestine digestion of proteins and amino acids compared to soy extraction shreds.

Higher feed digestion

Synthetic products which produce single enzymes have always been used in the feed production. Recently they started using byproducts regarding the enzyme production. The Sano Specialty Product SUSan Booster^® contains the main active substances.
